Those &#8220;Private Property&#8221; signs didn&#8217;t scare us a bit. Plus, they specified &#8220;no motor vehicles&#8221;; we figured hikers were exempt.<\/p>\n<p>[cpg_album:9,3]<\/p>\n<p>Our next stop was <strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.snowcrest.net\/index.php\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SnowCrest, Inc. Internet Cafe<\/a><\/strong> in <a title=\"Mt. Shasta Chamber of Commerce and Visitors' Bureau\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/mtshastachamber.com\/index.php\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mt. Shasta<\/span><\/a>. Thank goodness for SnowCrest. We had no cell phone or Internet service at Railroad Park and seriously needed a technology fix along with our coffee!<\/p>\n<p>Then we spent most of the rest of the day driving from Dunsmuir to <strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.visitgrantspass.org\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Grants Pass, OR<\/a><\/strong> (125 miles). Along the way, we stopped at the historic town of <strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.yrekachamber.com\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Yreka, CA<\/a><\/strong> to take some pictures and eat some lunch.<\/p>\n<p>[cpg_album:10,3]<\/p>\n<p>We ate dinner in Grants Pass (see <a style=\"font-weight: bold\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/steve.isitfridayyet.info\/?p=7\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Food<\/a> for details). We didn&#8217;t take time to walk around town.
