Construction in progress fascinates me \u2013 I guess it strikes me as a metaphor for life, that I am (we are each) a work in progress. New construction preceded by a demolition, though sad in some ways (such as lack of appreciation for architectural and other history) fascinates me even more \u2013 something decaying being made new.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
