Yep, I was here with The Boyfriend (TB) in early June, and last September. What can I say? I&#8217;m in love &#8212; or maybe just addicted. This time, I&#8217;m on my own. TB is at home, partly because he has one of those job things, and mostly because I don&#8217;t have one of those job things, and I wanted to do some solo traveling.<\/p>\n<p>I arrived in <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"Berkeley, CA\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ci.berkeley.ca.us\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Berkeley<\/strong><\/a>, where I&#8217;m staying, late this afternoon.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" title=\"Biking in Berkeley\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ci.berkeley.ca.us\/transportation\/Bicycling\/BB\/BicycleBoulevard.html\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Biking<\/strong><\/a> is very popular in Berkeley. These pictures are for TB, a rabid cyclist. Did I say &#8220;rabid&#8221;? I meant &#8220;avid.&#8221;<br \/>\n[thumb:380:c:l=p]<\/p>\n<p>After dinner at Vegi Food and dessert at Naia Gelateria (click <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"Bay Area Restaurants\" href=\"http:\/\/steve.isitfridayyet.info\/?page_id=27\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a> for details) &#8230;<br \/>\n[thumb:382:c:l=p]<\/p>\n<p>&#8230; I took a long walk down Shattuck Avenue; I&#8217;m pretty sure I was heading south. The second photo in this album is for my friend, Matt, a fellow skyscraper\/high-rise and architecture-in-general aficionado. Berkeley doesn&#8217;t have many high-rise buildings. Fortunately, this is the only unattractive one.<br \/>\n[thumb:376:c:l=p]<\/p>\n<p>And then I came back to my room, edited my photos, and blogged.
