{"id":33,"date":"2006-08-31T09:02:12","date_gmt":"2006-08-31T16:02:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/steve.isitfridayyet.info\/?p=33"},"modified":"2006-08-31T09:02:12","modified_gmt":"2006-08-31T16:02:12","slug":"back-in-the-bay-area-day-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/steve.isitfridayyet.info\/?p=33","title":{"rendered":"Back in the Bay Area-Day 4"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>(Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006)<\/p>\n<p>Today&#8217;s biking sign for The Boyfriend (TB), once again from <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"Missing Link Bicycle Co-op, Berkeley, CA\" href=\"http:\/\/www.missinglink.org\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Missing Link Bicycle Co-op<\/strong><\/a>:<\/p>\n<p>[thumb:512:c:l=p]<\/p>\n<p>New words include: Knobby; Lights; Maps; Nut; Oil; Pedals; Quick release; Ride; Slow leak.<\/p>\n<p>And a couple of photos for one of TB&#8217;s other obsessions: Small, fuel-efficient cars, like this <strike>Smart Car<\/strike> <a title=\"Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (NEV)\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nevco-ev.com\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (NEV)<\/strong><\/a>:<\/p>\n<p>[thumb:513:c:l=p]<\/p>\n<p>And today&#8217;s proof shot; proof that I was on a bus:<\/p>\n<p>[thumb:515:c:l=p]<\/p>\n<p>I spent all morning and part of the afternoon editing photos, updating my blog, checking e-mail, etc. I finally left my room around 2:00 and headed into downtown San Francisco for an hour or so.<\/p>\n<p>[cpg_album:62,3]<\/p>\n<p>As much as I would have liked to stay longer, I&#8217;m glad I didn&#8217;t.
