Starting from the Montgomery BART station (Montgomery and Market Streets) in <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"San Francisco\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/San_Francisco\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>San Francisco<\/strong><\/a>&#8216;s <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"Financial Center San Francisco\" href=\"http:\/\/gosanfrancisco.about.com\/od\/touristattractions\/a\/Financial.htm\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Financial Center<\/strong><\/a>, I walked through <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"Yerba Buena Gardens, San Francisco\" href=\"http:\/\/www.yerbabuenagardens.com\/index.html\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Yerba Buena Gardens<\/strong><\/a>, down 3rd, along the Embarcadero to Green, then up <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"Telegraph Hill, San Francisco\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Telegraph_Hill,_San_Francisco\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Telegraph Hill<\/strong><\/a> via the <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"Filbert Steps, San Francisco\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sisterbetty.org\/stairways\/filbertsteps.htm\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Filbert Steps<\/strong><\/a> to <a title=\"Coit Tower, San Francisco\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.inetours.com\/Pages\/SFNbrhds\/Coit_Tower.html\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Coit Tower<\/strong><\/a>, down Greenwich to Grant, and over to Geary. I covered approximately half of the Embarcadero &#8212; the half I&#8217;ve seen less of on previous visits.<\/p>\n<p>[thumb:874:c:l=p]<\/p>\n<p>[thumb:875:c:l=p]<\/p>\n<p>[cpg_album:133,3]<\/p>\n<p>[cpg_album:134,3]<\/p>\n<p>[cpg_album:135,3]<\/p>\n<p>After <a title=\"Bay Area Food\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/steve.isitfridayyet.info\/?page_id=27\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>dining<\/strong><\/a> at Millenium &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>[thumb:896:c:l=p]<\/p>\n<p>&#8230; I walked back to the Montgomery BART station and caught a train back to <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"Berkeley, CA\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Berkeley%2C_California\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Berkeley<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A grand total of 8+ miles (including Berkeley mileage for coffee, etc.).<\/p>\n<p>Today&#8217;s weather started out cloudy, cold, and windy, same as last Thursday. Perhaps this is a regular Bay Area Thursday thing. Although I think my first Thursday here, the last Thursday in August, was nice.
