Beautiful Ballard

Posted by in 5 Feb, 2007

February 5, 2007 Classic Ballard icons include the Bardahl sign and Sunset Bowl. [thumb:1078:c:l=p] “Everything runs better with Bardahl.” When it comes to cars, anyway. Ole Bardahl began production in 1939 and his family continues to run the company more than 65 years later. If you’re heading north over the Ballard bridge, you’ll see the […]

Good Times in Greenwood

Posted by in 6 Jan, 2007

January 6, 2007 The Boyfriend (TB) and I spent some time in Seattle’s Greenwood neighborhood today. Below are a few pictures (click “View the album” to see more and/or larger photos, with captions). French Poodle alert? [thumb:1037:c:l=p] We went to Antique Lighting Company to check out some star-shaped pendant lamps for our friend/sister-in-law, Karen. We […]

Summer is definitely over.

[cpg_album:35,3] One of Seattle’s most recognizable landmarks: [thumb:323:c:l=p] The interior alone is worth the $6 admission. [cpg_album:34,3] The top 2 floors comprise a private penthouse, leased (for an undisclosed amount) by a local couple. [thumb:342:c:l=p]

Bellevue

Bellevue has lots to see, too. Interesting architecture, a great park, an art museum, and tons of shopping. [cpg_album:27,3]
